Seattle is greenest this time of year. Whether the skies are grey or blue or mixed, the grass glistens with green vitality that becomes even more vivid when crows in their sparkling black suits do their funny dance in it. This painting is not for sale.

What a month! I made a collage of all the work I did.
I sold ten paintings out of thirty, and made almost 400 dollars for endangered species conservation! There are several more of these paintings for sale. If you travel backwards on this blog, you can see which are available and which are not.
And I forgot poor Enza!
Next month, I will be focusing on faces.

Living in the city, we don’t have quite the variety of wildlife that you might find in the woods. The smartest of our prolific birds is the crow. A day without crows here
is as rare as a day without cars. Doesn’t happen.
This painting is sold!

This painting just made itself. After putting the bike into an architectural environment, I was adding light and shadows, and thought, this needs more life. And a bird popped out of the pannier and landed on the bike. It looked so lonely there, so I painted a few more. Then a flock. and I realized, he had a pie in the pannier, and the pie was open, so they all flew out.
This time I made the bicycle an exact replica of Katrina, Donald’s bike because it is such a beautiful design.
This painting measures 11″ x 14″ and it is for sale $250.00
As with all of my paintings, the full sale price of this painting when sold goes to wildlife conservation efforts.

Wolves are one of the most important predators in North America. Overzealous farmers almost wiped them out, but then it was discovered that wolves keep elk and deer populations healthy by weeding out the sick and the injured ones and their presence keeps the population of coyotes at bay as well. Wolves are wonderful animals, great mothers, and have great family structures, with the whole family taking care of the alpha pair’s cubs. I hope we humans can figure out a way to share our world with brother wolf, and other great animals, all of which are losing more ground every day.
