This painting is from an old photo of one of my high school classmates. She is holding her favorite cat, named Dog. It is the night before her wedding to the man she made her life with. She looks so dreamy and romantic, and just a little insecure. The perfect bride.
This painting is not for sale.

Lovely bride-to-be, on the other hand, the cat looks confident and a little self-righteous! :-}
Dear Mimi, . . . there is a touching tenderness to the young woman and to “Dog.” You are truly gifted.
Peace.
Thanks for sharing this memory.
So lovely. The lighting is beautiful!
“her favorite cat named Dog”… that was just too perfect. 🙂
Your painting is beautiful. So simple, yet it speaks volumes in gentleness. Beautiful. xoxo
So sweet and lovely. Beautifully done.
You’ve captured such a sweet moment. Although the cat’s expression seems to be saying, “Go ahead and get married, I know who you really love the most.”
Woow, this is incredible! The shadows are delicate and the light so effective! Beautiful atmosphere.
Wonderful and expressive painting. Happy PPF, Annette x
