Inaugural Salute

January 20th, 2009 was a day which had incredible emotional impact on millions of people, in the United States, and all over the world. For many of us, it was a day we really never could even dream of happening. I took a lucky snapshot of this man as the New President of the United States passed him. I imagine this man will mark this day fondly and superbly for the rest of his life. This is a watercolor measuring 8 x11 inches on 300 pound paper. Inquiries welcome. A small number of fine art prints have been made from this painting. They are being offered for $40.00 plus $6.00 for postage and handling in the United States.

I can hear the main theme from the film Glory. A lot of history is looking out of that old soldier’s eyes.
