Day 5 – Lyle at the computer

One of the things I have discovered is that people in front of computers really don’t move much, they are perfect models for a quick sketch. He didn’t even know I was drawing him until I showed him the finished product. I am now working on a watercolor, maybe it will be finished in time for tomorrow.

Oh, Mimi, I finally have time to look at blogs. It may just be today, but, hopefully, into the future too. The sketches are very inspirational. I was thinking, “I might want to do that too!” It looks like a wonderful February project!

Tom looks more like me. Josiah looks more like his grandparents. But many people tell us that Tom or Josiah look a lot like their dad. They both have some of his features.

Dear Mimi, I looked at the five drawings you’ve done thus far for February and read your texts and I’m eager to follow you the rest of the month and to see the sketches–whether painted or not–as the days pass. Do your sons look more like you or like their father? Peace.
