What a month! I made a collage of all the work I did.
I sold ten paintings out of thirty, and made almost 400 dollars for endangered species conservation! There are several more of these paintings for sale. If you travel backwards on this blog, you can see which are available and which are not.
And I forgot poor Enza!
Next month, I will be focusing on faces.

My best friend lives in Arkansas where she works her special magic on people and their dogs. Sometimes, the dogs and people have troubles getting along, and according to my friend, the problem is rarely because of the dog, but more because of the humans. Some of the dogs she works with are learning agility, and are a pleasure to work with because both the dog and its human have good attitudes and work hard. This little whippet is one of them.
This is my final painting of the 30 paintings in 30 days series. I want to thank Leslie Saeta for putting this together, and all of my friends who have given me such wonderful support through the whole month.
Just when it should have been getting easy to finish this challenge, my life just got crazy. I had hopes of doing a couple really nice paintings for my last two days, but instead I only have time for small studies. In this painting, I was trying to show both the atmosphere and the colors of snow shadows. Showing misty fog is really very difficult. Showing hoarfrost is nearly impossible, so I picked the view where the trees were bare.
this painting is sold!

Today I went snowshoeing in the snow. While there i was amazed at the colors in the snow and this was my first attempt to capture them.

Today I have done a little whimsy cat; I hope it makes you smile. I think I could paint one hundred of these. This painting is not for sale. If you want your own whimsy cat, please let me know.
