\"andeancat\"<\/a>High up in the arid hills of the Andes live a very small population of wild cats. They are considered the small cat analog to the snow leopard, and belong to one of the rarest and least known of all the cat species. They are endangered, due to over-hunting and habitat encroachment.
\nThere exists a group, the Andean Cat Alliance<\/a>, who are working to learn about these cats while preserving habitat and educating the people who share the land with them. I support them by selling my paintings and spreading the word about this cat.
