\nThe other day on the light rail, I sat across from this gentleman. The novel in his hands was fraying. Most of the front cover was gone, the inside front page was in tatters. He was so intent on what he was reading, that when I snapped a picture of him with my trusty phone\/digital camera, he did not hear the fabricated shutter noise that I do not know how to shut off. He sat raptly involved with that book until the last stop, and after everyone else was standing, ready to exit the car, he finally put his book away. I did not see the title of the book. I tried.<\/p>\n
