Seattle welcome from the ferry

skylines
Last week, my sister gave me a whole bag of 600 pound Indian Village postcard sized papers. It is wrinkly and irregular, and really fun to paint on. I am getting a kick out of painting on it, even though it does not lend itself well to detail. This measures 4 x 6″ and I haven’t decided what I am going to do with it yet.

  1. Dear Mimi, this is one of the loveliest of all the work you’ve share with us. It is so impressionistic and reminds me of some of the work by the English artist Turner. Peace.

  2. A truly interesting effect. I recall seeing the Seattle skyline from one of the ferry boats. The day was unusual in that it was about the 14th straight day without rain!
