Rush Hour – part II
The second of a series of Bike Commuters. This painting depicts to me the wonderful feeling of passing a bunch of cars stuck in traffic.

Not having ridden a bike for what seems like eons now… last time was in Italy taking my uncle Federico’s bike and visiting a very close family friend trying to cycle my way through the streets and traffic… only going by memory of the last time i visited which was some ten years prior…
I have always wondered what it would be like to ride in a large city on the streets…this explains it beautifully…and relating it back to your portrait earlier… you don’t need many words to express emotion or feeling in painting.
Mimi… you are fantastic!
