On the beach – self portrait


I attended a demo put on by the amazing Suzie Short this weekend, called Sea and Shore. This is my attempt to use the skills I learned from her. This is a little smaller than a 1/4 sheet on 300 pound Indian village organic cotton paper. I tried to limit the colors I used here to Quin Sienna, Shadow violet, Ult Blue, Turquoise, yellow ochre and pyrrol orange

    Perhas one day you will come to a beach here in Australia!
    It really hot here in the summer…well most of the time!

    I must confess, I have never been on OUR beach in a swimsuit. It’s a bit too cold for that even in the summer. The last beach I was on was on Maui

    Watching that lovely shore… mkes me wish I could have attended the workshop!!!! Gorgeous waves and a lovely woman ;)
