Thanks for all your suggestions, thoughts and critiques. I have repainted this and now I like it. The illusion of the rabbit hole was less difficult to paint than I thought. And here’s my two bunnies, just in time for Easter.

Very cute. It’s like a reflection of dreams for self. I know, far cry from bunny in the hole.
The outside bunny is much friendlier now, not as predatory. I like the alertness to the interior fella and the over all increase of light…lifts it up and makes it a much happier story.
You’ve come a long way in inferring mood…a big step and I’m looking forward to how you’ll use it in the future.
