Day 7 – cycling in the desert

The winters in Seattle can be pretty dark and gloomy, so my husband used to plan annual trips in November to ride in Arizona. Arizona in November promises warm weather and sunshine, two things that cannot be found in Seattle that part of the year, so when I could, I went with him.
One of the nicest things about riding in Arizona was the flatness. The other part that I liked was the wildlife. There are many trees and bushes which lack anything you could recognize as a leaf. I picture this cyclist here enjoying the sweetness of the air as the sun rises in a land where it can be warm in November.
