When I started painting, I made a deal with myself. If I wanted to paint, I had to do some kind of exercise as well. I couldn’t just paint, because my whole body needs a workout, not just my brain and my hand. So this helped to keep me bicycle commuting, as well as a bunch of other physical activities. Sometimes I combine both loves, bicycling and painting. This happy marriage is featured here; as I painted this, I envisioned myself on a warm summer evening, riding faster than my partner! This painting is sold.
