Aggie was born wild. When I got her she was a shy little kitten with ringworm. Needless to say, she is now in charge of the entire house (except when we have guests, then she becomes a bit more retiring). Here she is catching a sunbeam on a red leather chair. This is an 8″x10″ painting that will be donated to the Colors of Compassion art show and festival which will be at the Blowing Sands Gallery in Ballard and is being done to raise money for the feral cat spay/neuter project. The top painting is my second try. I like it better (and it will fit a standard mat which is important when you don’t have time to get a custom frame)

Lovely job and I agree that your second try is a huge improvement. Thank you for contributing this way to spay neuter programs. They are awfully important and it’s wonderful when the animal community has the support of artists like you!
Hi Mimi… Looks as though you have managed to add some more bulk in her body by making it lighter and thus making her tail look more defined being curled the way it is.
You have done a great job on this one too and i love the improvements you have made to it.
Less is more sometimes.

Aggie is adorable and you have done a great job painting her. I love the combo of her grey fur against the red leather chair… it was destiny for you to have painted this and in her own little way Aggie has helped too!
