Lookout point

September 11th, 2012 6 comments

Occasionally I paint a real place. This is a lookout near the highest point in Jefferson Park, on Beacon Hill in Seattle. This is the perfect place to park your bike so that you can look out behind it and see the skyline or the sunset, whichever is more illuminated at the moment. This is a place my husband and I stopped at often, on our bikes. It’s a fun park to be in.

THis is an 11″ x 15″ original watercolor and it’s for sale, $300.00.

Bike Date #2

September 8th, 2012 4 comments

Our cycling couple has made it to yet another old bistro, time for a little break and maybe a snack. This is the 3rd of a series of bike paintings. I’ve wanted to capture the grace of a bicycle for quite some time and I feel like I’ve finally done it. This 11 x 15″ watercolor is sold, but prints are available here
